Directions
Directions
Place pouch contents into a bowl and add 2 cups of boiling water. Stir, cover, and let sit for 10-15 minutes until cool. Continue to feed for 2-3 days, or as long as your veterinarian recommends. Then gradually wean your dog back to their regular diet.
Refrigerate leftover food for up to 72 hours.
Note: Store in cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening. For animal use only. Intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only

- I have 7 & 8 pound dogs. How many meals are in one pouch?
- For that size dog there would be around 8 meals per pouch!
- How many servings, in what amounts, (ie. Five 1 cup servings) does the bag contain?
- Hi - this depends on what size your pup is! But there are almost 4 cups of rehydrated food inside! Here are the serving directions as well: Please hydrate the contents BEFORE following these guidelines. Small dogs (<20 lbs) 1/4-1/2 cup twice daily, approx. 8 servings/bag. Medium dogs (20-50 lbs) 1/2- 3/4 twice daily, approx. 6 servings/bag. Large dogs (>50 lbs) 1 cup twice daily, approx. 3.75 servings/bag.
- What is shelf life of the product (before rehydration)? Thank you.
- Because these are freeze dried they have a very long shelf life of 3 years before hydration!
- Your feeding directions for a 50lb or over dog says 3/4 to 1 cup of food twice daily, but doesn't say whether this is a dry measure or after the food is rehydrated. Could you please clear this up for me.

- What is the calcium and phosphorus content?
- There is no phosphorus or calcium added to our freeze dried bland diets. There may be naturally occurring traces from the free range habitat of the chicken/turkey and also from the beef (as in food generally) but they are under the levels that would be registered and it is not reported on the guaranteed analysis. As we are not veterinarians it would be best to check back with your vet to determine the most suitable regimen.
