To acquaint your dog with the flavor, place a small amount of gel on its nose or in the mouth.
To supplement your dog's caloric or nutritional intake: 5 cc (or 1 teaspoon) per 10 pounds of body weight daily.
When your dog is not eating its full ration: 10cc (or 2 teaspoons) per 10 pounds of body weight daily.

"Bought for a senior cat. Thought I would be able to just squirm in mouth but the tube is so big I could not do that. I followed directions and put some on his nose as he was supposed to like it off but instead he tried to get it off by rubbing his face on the carpet and furniture. - Hello! My dog is 3 pounds. How many cc's would he need and will this syringe allow me to adjust to the amount he needs with him being so little? Thanks!
- We would recommend that you try the Ready Cal for Puppies, it a smaller tube so it will be easier to feed to your pup! We would suggest giving a little less than half a teaspoon, depending on your pups need. This syringe allows for very easy and accurate dosing for even small amounts!
