"My pickiest cat turned 11 this year. She'd been losing weight slowly over the past year. I got this powder to put some weight back on her w out changing her diet. She has spent a lifetime snubbing MANY kinds of food & even treats. When I opened the lid on this powder, she smelled it & IMMEDIATELY wanted it. I mixed it in a patè w gravy. She gobbled it all & immediately began screaming for more. I have to hide the can of powder or she sits & stares at it. I have even mixed it in little cat soups that didn't have enough volume to fully absorb the powder. This cat, who turns her nose up @MANY things, will eat the clumpiest pile of food w this in it. And I may be imagining it, but she felt a bit less bony after just one dose. HIGHLY recommended!!!"

"I came across this product while searching for things to try to put weight on my senior cat. I am a veterinarian & my cat did not like the prescription critical care/ high cal diets on the market. Of course we ruled out the "usual suspects" of weight loss in my cat first like renal disease, diabetes, & hyperthyroidism. Once I knew we weren't battling an issue like that, I was looking for ways to increase his calories. This product has made a huge difference for him. - We are about half healthy carbohydrates and also use healthy fats and minerals as energy sources as well
- I can't get my car to eat this no matter how it's presented. I've tried sprinkling smaller and smaller amounts in her food to try and add more calories to her purees and I tried making a gravy as suggested on the jar. She isn't interested in anything that has this on it and she really need the calories. Is there anything I can hide it in that will disguise the vitamin smell? I think that's what is throwing her off. Thank you
- This product is simply healthy fats and sugars. There should not be any vitamin smell. Some cats are just very finicky especially when they don’t feel well. Are there any canned foods or treats that she likes? Have you tried warming up her canned food to increase the aromas? Does she like tunafish? Or canned salmon? Warming up their food definitely helps with palatability. Try starting very light and warming up her favorite food to mix it with might help. We hope this works!
